Vision Care

Many find time to visit their eye family doctor for annual appointments, but they neglect their vision health.

Periodic eye and vision examinations are an important part of preventive health care.  Yearly Comprehensive Eye Exams are recommended for patients who are younger than 19 and older than 60. Patient's who are between 19-60 years old, are encouraged to have their eyes examined every two years or more frequently if they are being followed for visual problems or have a family history of eye disease.

Many eye and vision problems have no obvious signs or symptoms. As a result, individuals are often unaware that problems exist. Early diagnosis and treatment of eye and vision problems are important for maintaining good vision and eye health, and when possible, preventing vision loss.
